Program

MentorUp is a free mentoring program for startups looking to scale their solutions. Successful applicants get access to high-profile mentors to support you on your biggest challenges. Past participants have typically been early-stage startups until their first institutional round of funding.

We are especially looking for startups within our four focus areas. However, if your startup is making positive impact working on another area, don't hesitate to apply!

How does it work

The timeline of the program

From 1 October 2022: Application
The two-stage application process consists of a written 10 minute survey and - if selected - a short virtual interview. The interview is part of the selection process, but also serves for us to identify and define your needs.
December 2022 - January 2023: Final Selection and Mentor Matching
Successful applicants will be matched you with one or several mentors according to their industry and needs.
February 2023: Official Kick-Off
Get introduced to the program and network with the other startups and mentors of the winter batch 2023.
February - May 2023: Mentoring Sessions & Networking
During 3 months, selected startups have up to 4 sessions with their mentor/s. Additionally, the program offers networking and special events.

Climate & Environment

The climate crisis is is one of our generation's largest challenges. We want to work with startups and founders who reduce emissions, fight drought, respond to natural distastes, preserve biodiversity, converse nature, promote sustainable consumption, and more.‍

Health & Care

This area includes everything that is making people live healthier lives, and encompasses preventative care, diagnostics and therapeutics as well as solutions to achieve health equality and to ensure access to health services.

Education & Equity

We are looking for startups providing all people with quality education, skills and jobs to ensure that no one is left behind. Related to that, we want to work with founders driving for a more inclusive community, with solutions to provide access and engagement from all sections of the civic community, regardless of background, race, gender, sexual orientation or physical ability.

Basic Needs

This focus area includes everything regarding improving access and delivery of basic needs. We are looking for innovations to directly or indirectly respond to local disasters, take humanitarian action, end hunger, fight extreme poverty, and more, to support the world’s most vulnerable communities.
